Elevate projects are working in partnership with our client, a registered social landlord committed to providing safe, quality homes for tenants, to appoint an interim Disrepair Surveyor and help improve homes and communities within Wiltshire.
As a Disrepair Surveyor, you will:
* Conduct thorough property inspections to identify disrepair issues.
* Prepare accurate reports detailing findings and recommendations.
* Liaise with tenants, contractors, and colleagues to resolve disrepair matters promptly and efficiently.
* Ensure compliance with housing regulations, policies, and health & safety standards.
* Monitor ongoing repair projects, ensuring they meet agreed timelines and quality standards.
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience in disrepair surveying or a related field.
* A relevant qualification in surveying or construction (e.g., RICS or CIOB accreditation is advantageous).
* Strong knowledge of housing legislation and building standards.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to handle sensitive tenant concerns.
* A proactive approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
* Full driving license and access to a vehicle
