🌟 Service Leader – Complex Needs & Supported Living
📍 Skelmersdale | 💷 Up to £34, per annum | 🕓 Full-Time | Permanent
Defour Partnership is delighted to be supporting a forward-thinking social care provider in the recruitment of a passionate and experienced Service Leader to lead newly mobilised supported living services for adults with learning disabilities, autism, and/or complex needs.
This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of core and cluster services from initial mobilisation through to full operational delivery, with a focus on quality, compliance and person-centred support.
🧭 About the Role:
As Service Leader, you will lead the safe and effective start-up of new services, embedding a values-led culture and ensuring excellent outcomes for people supported. You will provide senior leadership across multiple services and work closely with Registered Managers and operational colleagues.
🔍 Key Responsibilities:
Lead the mobilisation and set-up of new supported living services
Ensure delivery aligns with commissioning, quality, and regulatory standards
Drive compliance, quality improvement and person-centred practice
Act as a senior escalation point for complex operational and safeguarding issues
Manage budgets, staffing, and occupancy performance
Build relationships with commissioners, families and professionals
Ensure full readiness for CQC inspections and external audits
✅ What We’re Looking For:
Strong leadership experience in adult social care (especially supported living)
Proven track record in service mobilisation, transformation, or expansion
In-depth knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and the Mental Capacity Act
Ability to manage multiple services and work under pressure
A recognised qualification in Health & Social Care (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or above)
