What you will do:
1. Manage daily workload within the workshop to meet demand plans and customer needs
2. Ensure that all repairs are evaluated and completed in a timely manner as defined by the Team lead or Supervisor
3. Work with the Customer services Department to schedule the quality checking of all capital equipment
4. Responding to customer and internal queries in a timely, efficient and professional manner
5. Provide reporting and documentation on all aspects of work within the workshop
6. Assist with ERP Data entry, quoting and repair of customer equipment
7. Maintain technical competency through regular and frequent attendance at appropriate courses of further vocational study and continuing professional development
8. Ensure that Health & Safety standards and requirements are met at all times by the Supplier, its employees, servants and agents
9. Ensure that the department's performance of services is ISO 9001 compliant
10. Support Team and Individual continuous improvement initiatives to drive higher standards of efficiency and quality
11. Provide Technical support for both internal and external customers
12. Ensure efficient maintenance of the spare parts stock and participate in the realization of the required annual inventories
13. Provide reporting on repair, departmental or customer activity using the appropriate systems available
What you will need:
14. Fluent in Local Language as well as minimum level of English
15. Educational requirements per country specific regulations.
16. Educated to degree level is preferable with experience in at least one of the following: Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or Medical Physics or Service and maintenance of medical equipment or Customer service
17. Previous experience of maintenance and repair of medical equipment preferred
18. Experience with ERP systems and data entry
19. Full Driver’s license
Physical & mental requirements:
20. Exerting up to 25 kilos of force occasionally and/or up to 10 kilos of force constantly to move objects
21. Coordination of eye, hand and foot movement with an ability to grasp by hand and meet cognitive demands to include visual and auditory discrimination / memory, reading ability and memory retention ability
22. Must have the ability to prioritize work and keep documentation
23. Must possess unwavering ethics & integrity in a competitive and demanding work environment
24. Ability to think independently, use sound judgment, prioritize, make quick decisions and problem-solve
25. Ability to communicate effectively and work both independently and as part of a team on assignments
26. May involve exposure to chemicals, solvents, and cleaning detergents
27. May require to wear personal protective equipment
