Job Description
Scope of Position: Providing Operational Support around Customs and Trade Compliance in our systems and those of our clients.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Support Operations, delivery and execution of standardized, compliant trade compliance services;
2. Actively engage with customers on projects to ensure an accurate and timely delivery;
3. Maintain recordkeeping for functional areas of responsibility;
4. Clear communications to address issues and support in resolving any Customs and Trade Compliance challenges,
5. Effective collaboration and solid communication with team members, clients and third parties;
6. Continuous process improvement mindset: identify gaps in current processes and procedures. Provide recommendations and implement solutions to improve operational processes.
7. Continually seek improvement in procedures and services to create more efficient and cost effective operations;
8. Meet company standard of 52 hours of training per year;
9. Be dedicated to the success of Tradewin using ethical business practices at all times;
Qualifications
Requested Skills, Education, Experience:
10. Bachelor's Degree;
11. Great attitude and excellent communication skills;
12. Extensive experience in international trade compliance;
13. Extensive knowledge of European Union rules and regulation;
14. Proven ability to develop, implement and maintain standards and identify opportunities for continuous improvement;
15. Proven ability to work according performance metrics;
16. Strong time and project management skills;
17. Well developed computer skills and ability to manage and control data;
18. Demonstrated experience interacting with Tradewin team members and customers to gather information and coordinate projects to anticipate and satisfy the customer’s needs;
19. Ability to allocate tasks responsibilities to yourself and others to maximize the team and the individual’s effectiveness;
20. Ability to execute the tasks timely and problem solve, enabling teams and individuals to meet and exceed customer’s deadlines;
