The Role We are seeking a Neighbourhood Lead to join our Regional Neighbourhood Team on a permanent, full-time basis covering our Braintree area patch. In this frontline role, you’ll be the main point of contact for residents, ensuring homes, estates, and communities are well managed, safe, and welcoming. You’ll handle a wide range of housing management duties including lettings, tenancy visits, rent account support, and dealing with tenancy changes or breaches. Regular estate inspections, resolving anti-social behaviour, and supporting residents with advice, signposting, and safeguarding are also key parts of the role. Working closely with colleagues, contractors, and local partners, you’ll help deliver joined-up services and drive improvements across our neighbourhoods. We’re looking for applicants with proven communication and problem-solving skills, ideally with experience in housing or a customer-facing service. You’ll be confident managing challenging situations, organised in keeping accurate records, and committed to providing fair, supportive, and high-quality services.
