Operations Manager – Responsibilities
A highly skilled hands‑on operations champion will focus on increasing customer satisfaction while improving efficiency of manpower and materials. The manager will plan, direct and manage daily operational activity, working to achieve operating goals and objectives consistent with company objectives. Responsibilities include evaluating current and proposed systems and procedures, recommending changes when necessary, and assisting in implementing new processes.
The role requires a charismatic leader with demonstrable management skills, capable of commanding respect from all divisions of the business. The manager will support and motivate staff to achieve maximum output and profit, focusing on disciplinary procedures, employee relations, absence policies, reducing lateness, and ensuring staff are incentivised where appropriate.
