As a Drama Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that develop students’ confidence, creativity, and communication skills. You will encourage collaboration, self-expression, and performance skills, helping students to thrive both on stage and in the classroom. Teacher of Drama Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging Drama lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. Support students in developing performance, improvisation, and theatre production skills. Encourage creativity, teamwork, and self-expression in a safe and inclusive environment. Assess student work, provide feedback, and monitor progress. Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management. Collaborate with colleagues to organise school performances and enrichment activities. Drama Teacher Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Strong subject knowledge in Drama and Performing Arts. Previous experience teaching Drama in secondary schools is desirable. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. Ability to motivate and inspire students of varying abilities. A valid enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply through GSL.
