Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Assistant/Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. This role requires excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality care and education to young children.
Duties
* Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children aged 0-12 years.
* Plan and implement engaging activities that promote children's physical, emotional, and social development.
* Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records of their development.
* Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding children's needs and progress.
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the smooth operation of the nursery.
* Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play activities.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the nursery environment.
* Support children in developing their independence and self-care skills.
Experience
* Proven experience working in a nursery or childcare setting is desirable.
* A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
* A genuine passion for working with children and fostering their development.
