Overview
Occupational Therapy Senior Healthcare Support Worker role at NHS Highland. Permanent Band 3 based at the Royal Northern Infirmary, working within the community, ward, and integrated team. Deliver individual functional activity and assessments, as well as a programme of therapeutic interventions as delegated by registered OT staff / OT assistant practitioners to help maximise client function and independence.
You will work jointly with OTs and OTAP, carry out visits autonomously, and provide feedback to the clinicians. You will also have the opportunity to work alongside other professionals within the integrated team such as District Nurses, Social Workers, and Physiotherapists. Regular supervision is provided (including peer supervision opportunities) and opportunities for ongoing professional development are encouraged.
You will be expected to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations and patient residences, so a full current driving licence and business insurance are essential. Applications from candidates without a driving licence will not be considered for interview.
