Position: Commercial Manager We’re hiring a Commercial Manager to join a high-performing, commercially sharp team in one of the UK’s top-performing tech sales businesses. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone from a tech sales background who’s ready to step into a more numbers-driven role, supporting senior commercial leaders while building their own expertise. You’ll be working in a fast-paced, commercially mature environment where accuracy, attention to detail, and confidence with numbers are essential. A background in tech sales, distribution, or IT solutions is highly desirable, but we’ll also consider candidates with transferable experience who can demonstrate strong commercial aptitude. Key Responsibilities 1. Deal Support & Commercial Execution * Support sales teams with pricing, margin checks, and deal structure * Ensure all commercial data is accurate and compliant with internal policies * Escalate risks or low-margin activity to the Commercial Lead 2. Margin & Revenue Tracking * Monitor margin across deals and flag variances or risks * Provide clear, accurate reporting on commercial performance to senior colleagues * Help identify opportunities to improve profitability 3. Stakeholder Collaboration * Work closely with Sales, Finance, and Operations to ensure deals run smoothly * Build strong relationships across the business, becoming a trusted commercial partner 4. Process & Governance * Maintain and enforce commercial workflows and approvals * Ensure compliance with commercial policies and customer/vendor requirements 5. Commercial Reporting & Analysis * Support the preparation of reports, forecasts, and dashboards * Provide insights and recommendations to the Commercial Lead and wider team 6. Market & Vendor Awareness * Keep up to date with vendor pricing models and market trends * Ensure the business makes the most of rebate schemes and vendor programmes Experience & Requirements * Previous experience in tech sales, distribution, or IT solutions is highly desirable * Strong commercial awareness and confidence working with pricing, margin, and numbers * Highly organised with excellent attention to detail * Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume sales environment * Strong communication skills and confidence partnering with multiple stakeholders * Ambitious and eager to grow into a more senior commercial role over time
