The Company: Our client is based in Milton Keynes, with a well-established 14-acre site. UK customers benefit from quicker delivery and customised product options where required, because many of their products are warehoused or assembled by hand in the Milton Keynes facility.
The Role: Working at the Milton Keynes facility, you will champion Environmental and Sustainability improvements, ensure compliance with Environmental Legislation, and maintain the ISO14001 Environmental Management System. You will lead the Environmental Committee, support the Carbon Reduction journey, maintain Carbon Neutral status, and collaborate with European and Japan colleagues on SDG, ESG, CSRD, and Net Zero ambitions. You will also focus on waste recycling and reducing packaging purchases.
This role involves assessing legislative changes, managing legal reporting, and responding to business needs or incidents. You will drive initiatives like Energy Usage Reduction, engage with leadership, R&D, Production, Sales, and suppliers, and promote sustainability goals through effective communication.
Responsibilities:

* Complete and submit legal environmental reports such as Waste Packaging on time.
* Utilise Information Management systems like BSI Entropy and Solution Host.
* Chair the Environmental Committee and ensure timely completion of actions.

* Ensure compliance with ESOS reporting and potentially ISO50001.
* Lead waste management initiatives and promote waste hierarchy practices.
* Understand ISO Management Systems, especially ISO 14001.
* Identify and lead environmental improvement projects aligned with management objectives.
* Assist with internal audits related to environmental standards.
Qualifications and Experience:

They offer a competitive benefits package including retail discounts, life assurance, Private Medical Cover, 25 days holiday, and more.
The Selection Process:
Applicants will undergo an online first interview, online testing, and a final face-to-face interview at the client’s offices.
