Job Description
A well-established construction and property services company based in Liverpool is seeking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects across the region.
The business operates across commercial construction, and property services related works, delivering high-quality solutions for a range of private and public sector clientsThe Role
* Full commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to final account
* Preparation of cost plans, budgets, forecasts and monthly reporting
* Procurement and commercial management of subcontractor packages
* Valuations, variations and change control
* Final account preparation and negotiation
* Working closely with project and site teams to drive commercial performance
* Ensuring compliance with contractual and commercial requirements
The Candidate
* Proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within construction or property services
* Strong understanding of cost control, subcontractor management and reporting
* JCT and NEC experience (NEC experience advantageous)
* Commercially astute with a proactive approach
* Confident communicator able to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
* Degree-qualified or equivalent industry experience preferred
This role would suit a QS looking for a long-term position within a well-run, privately owned construction and property services organisation offering exposure to varied and interesting projects
