Quality Assurance Technician / QA
Location: Edenbridge, Kent.
Salary: £c28, per annum (depending on experience) + Annual Profit Bonus

Hours: Permanent, Full Time / 8am - 4.30pm with some flexibility if required
As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring products meet internal and external quality standards. You will be responsible for carrying out inspections, maintaining records, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
Key Responsibilities;
1. Perform routine in-process and final product inspections
2. Conduct visual and documented checks through out production on raw materials
3. Maintain accurate inspection records and complete relevant quality documentation
4. Report any non-conformances and assist with investigations and root cause analysis
5. Support the implementation of corrective and preventative actions (CAPA)
6. Collaborate with production to promote quality awareness
7. Ensure compliance with BRCGS packaging, FSC, ISO, PS and any relevant industry or regulatory standards
8. Participate in internal audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
9. Investigate and support the response to customer complaints
10. Carry out hygiene and glass and brittle inspections
Candidate Requirements
11. Previous experience in a Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or similar technical role / Factory background (Food or pacakging)
12. Understanding of quality systems and standards (e.g. BRC, ISO, GMP)
13. Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
14. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
15. Good communication and interpersonal skills
16. Friendly, flexible and reliable team member
17. Must enjoy working outside of the office in a busy environment
