Pertemps are recruiting Class 2 Home Delivery Drivers on behalf of our prestigious client, a global market leader in logistics. Based in Doncaster, the role supports a nationwide home delivery operation for one of Britain’s largest retailers – providing the vital link between customers, stores and warehouses.
Duties include:
1. Home delivery of furniture to retail customers
2. Planning delivery schedules and routes with transport managers
3. Supervising/helping to load and unload goods
4. Securing loads safely
5. Following traffic reports and adjusting routes if required
6. Completing delivery paperwork and logbooks
Requirements:
7. Valid HGV Class 2 (HGV C) licence
8. No more than 6 points & free from serious endorsements (for insurance purposes)
9. Valid DIGI & CPC card
10. Smart appearance with excellent customer service skills
Job Details:
11. Daily start times between 05:00 – 08:00
12. Accompanied by a Driver’s Mate
13. Multi-drop deliveries (handball required)
14. Customer-facing role
Pay & Benefits:
15. £17.31 per hour (Monday–Sunday)
16. Guaranteed 9 hours pay per shift
17. Weekly pay via Pertemps
