Foxford Community School – Student Support Facilitator
Grade 3: £25,185 to £26,403 full time equivalent (£18,015 – £18,886 pro rata)
Hours: 30.5 hours per week, school term time plus 5 teacher training days (39 weeks per year). Hours of work: 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., Monday‑Friday.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated professional to join our team as a Student Support Facilitator. In this role you will provide academic and pastoral support to specific students or groups, many of whom have Special Educational Needs. You will offer behaviour support and cover lessons when teachers are absent.
Responsibilities
* Provide academic and pastoral support to students with SEN.
* Deliver behaviour support to enable students to achieve their best.
* Cover lessons when teachers are absent.
* Build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
Qualifications
* Experience working with children, especially those with special educational needs.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to motivate students.
