Site Services Engineer
The Site Services Engineer will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of our clients products. This is a hands‑on position and involves commissioning, technical support, fault rectification, and customer liaison across multiple project sites in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
* Commissioning
* Commission of Control Systems on customer sites across the UK.
* Act as a point of contact for customers, providing guidance on installation, connection, and fault-finding where required.
* Deliver clear technical advice and solutions, ensuring that customers are confident in the use and maintenance of the system.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with contractors, consultants, and end‑users.
* Maintain accurate project records, including commissioning logs.
* Provide information allowing commissioning certificates to be generated upon successful completion of works.
* Ensure all completed work is processed in a timely manner.
* Report back on product defects, performance issues, and potential improvements to support product development.
* Proactively identify and resolve technical issues on‑site.
* Provide feedback and recommendations to improve product design, installation methods, and commissioning processes.
* Share knowledge with colleagues to promote best practices within the team.
* Manage and organise daily on‑site workload effectively, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
* Carry out additional tasks assigned by the Site Services Manager, Team Leader, or Senior Engineer.
* Support team members where required, contributing to a collaborative working environment.
* Work with admin team ensuring that tasks are complete in a timely manner to the customers requirements.
Person Specification
* Proven experience as a Site Service Engineer with electrical experience or equivalent.
* Full clean driving licence.
* Experience working within a regulated, complex, or fast‑paced environments.
* Experience contributing to continuous improvement or change initiatives.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to plan, prioritise and manage workload effectively.
* Sound judgement and problem‑solving abilities.
* Good IT skills, including confidence using relevant systems and Microsoft Office.
* Pasma and IPAF certifications and 18th edition qualification are desirable.
