Overview
If you are interested in joining our journey, we are now recruiting for a Driver's Mate. Reporting to the Transport Manager, this role will play a key part of our success journey and you will have the opportunity to be involved in the following:
Role Responsibilities
* Supporting the driver and warehouse teams in loading/unloading of stock.
* Supporting the driver with the most efficient traffic routes to help you both get to each location and back home as quickly and safely as possible.
* Building brilliant working relationships with your customers and other departments.
* Holding health and safety at the forefront of all processes.
* Prior experience working as a driver\'s mate, drayman or within a warehouse is desirable, however not required.
* Delivering customer service
* Manual handling experience and/or training is desirable; full training will be provided during induction.
* Knowledge of the local region.
* Working hours and schedule: 48 hours per week, predominantly Monday to Friday with flexibility to work any 5 days in a 7-day period to suit business needs.
