Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
* Conduct vehicle repairs, servicing, and diagnostics efficiently and accurately
* Carry out vehicle fault diagnosis using specialist equipment
* Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control
* Assist in technical troubleshooting and advise customers on necessary repairs
* Keep accurate records of work carried out and parts used
* Support the workshop team to meet productivity targets and customer satisfaction
* Adhere to health and safety protocols and company policies
Requirements for the Vehicle Technician position:
* Full UK driving licence
* NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
* Proven experience working in a professional vehicle workshop
* Confidence in repair, servicing, and diagnostic work
* Ability to work independently and take responsibility for your tasks
* Ideally hold a current MOT licence
* Experience with electric/hybrid vehicle systems (Level 3 EV/HV) is advantageous
* Manufacturer training and ongoing professional development willingness
