We seek experienced professionals to join our water resources team at various UK locations, including Leeds, Birmingham, Reading, and Shrewsbury.

With significant investments in infrastructure, including £4 billion for water supply and £2 billion for Nature-Based solutions (2025-30), the UK industry faces major challenges. Our team works on strategic investigations, water resource management plans, drought plans, and more, helping water companies meet future demands.
Responsibilities
* Plan and implement water resource projects, ensuring compliance with scope, budget, and regulatory standards.
* Bring expertise in WRMPs, regional water plans, drought plans, water models, demand management, and environmental assessments.
* Develop client relationships and expand networks for positive project outcomes.
* Manage projects financially, including bids and proposals.
* Support the wider team across various projects and specialisms.
Candidate Profile
We welcome applicants from regulatory, water company, or consultancy backgrounds with recent water resource experience. Ideal candidates have worked in multidisciplinary teams, engaging with clients and authorities, with experience in WRMPs, drought plans, and regional plans.
Required Skills & Experience
* Experience in water resource projects, including WRMPs, drought plans, regional plans, hydrological assessments, demand forecasting, and risk analysis.
* Experience with WINEP, environmental assessments, licensing, catchment management, and climate impact studies.
* 5-10 years in the water industry.
* Relevant degree (geography, environmental science, civil engineering, etc.) and postgraduate qualifications preferred.
* Active involvement with institutions like CIWEM, ICE, or the Institute of Water, with chartership or working towards it.
