As a Field Sales Engineer, you will develop the sales and profitability within your area in conjunction with the regional sales manager. This will be achieved by utilising all sales channels (direct, distribution, integration).
The Field Sales Engineer will be responsible for:-
Driving continuous improvement activities with customers and to effectively operate all sales channels
Improve existing methods and procedures and develop new machining techniques and cutting strategies
Maintain and strengthen business relations with customers and channel partners
Implement local sales and industry segment development strategies in conjunction with the RSM and BDM
Promote the Walter Service Offer through identification of sales opportunities.

A thorough understanding of manufacturing processes and proven sales experience in the metal cutting industry
A thorough knowledge of the application of cutting tools and ideally experience working with 5-axis machine centres
