FLEET SERVICE COORDINATOR This is an entry to mid-level opportunity ideal for someone with strong coordination skills and an interest in vehicle maintenance, it’s not a management role, but one requiring initiative and accountability. The role ensures that all vehicles, trailers, and assets across the hire fleet are maintained, tested, and documented in full compliance with legal and company standards. This includes scheduling inspections (PMIs, MOTs, LOLER, etc.), coordinating repairs, managing breakdowns, and ensuring data accuracy across fleet systems and assessing cost for repair work or defects. The candidate should bring transferable skills such as: * Strong organisational and administrative ability. * Experience coordinating service or maintenance schedules (e.g. from automotive, logistics, facilities, or plant hire sectors). * Confidence handling data, paperwork, and compliance systems. * Excellent communication skills for supplier and customer liaison. * Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines. * Understanding of HGV or vehicle maintenance terminology. * Previous experience in a transport, hire, or engineering environment.
