About the Opportunity
As a Senior Physicist, you will be expected to lead small to medium-sized projects or tasks independently, requiring minimal guidance. You may oversee the work of small teams working on those projects and mentor junior team members. You will be responsible for the technical delivery of the tasks and interactions with clients. Key responsibilities will include:
* Detailed knowledge and experience within a physics discipline required in the nuclear industry, such as transient analysis, reactor physics, shielding, thermal hydraulics, etc.
* Ability to assimilate, analyse, and provide judgments on complex technical issues clearly and concisely.
* Good consultancy skills, e.g., communication, teamwork, adaptability to client requirements, and time management skills.
* Experience in bid writing or assessment and associated commercial awareness.
* Familiarity with nuclear safety assessments and safety case construction.

Qualifications
* Nuclear masters and PhDs preferred or degree or postgraduate qualification in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline.
