Our stunning new home, Statham Manor Care Centre, is a purpose-built care facility situated in the picturesque village of Lymm in Cheshire. The home is registered to provide care to 66 residents with various needs, including residential and nursing care. We prioritize safety, comfort, and high-quality care, investing in the latest technology and offering daily activities and gentle exercises to enhance residents' wellbeing. All team members are carefully selected for their warmth and passion, with comprehensive induction and ongoing training provided by our in-house trainers and the New Care Academy. The home is rated GOOD by CQC in all domains. We have maintained a staff team of permanent employees for over 4 years to ensure continuity of care, and all staff are paid at or above the national living wage.
We are seeking to appoint kind, caring, and compassionate Care Assistants to join our team. You will deliver quality care to residents according to Care Plans and contribute to the efficient running of the home. We offer full-time contracts with an excellent hourly rate of £11.50. Shift times are 07:45 – 20:00, with alternate weekends off.
Role Responsibilities:
* Deliver hands-on, person-centered care to residents.
* Support residents in enjoying a good quality of life.
* Model best practices in care delivery.
* Assist residents with their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs in line with care plans.
* Contribute to daily resident records.
* Work effectively within a team and complete delegated tasks efficiently.
* Promote and safeguard the welfare of adults in your care.
Skills and Experience Required:
* Experience as a Care Assistant in a care environment is preferable.
* Care certificate or equivalent, or willingness to achieve it within 12 months.
* Good knowledge of care practices for older people.
* Understanding of the 6 principles of care and their application in residential/nursing settings.
* Ability to work well in a team.
* Self-motivated and confident.
