This site is part of a global recycling / packaging manufacturinggroup.We are looking for a versatile and proactive finance transformation and compliance lead to support a broad range of finance-related projects within the two sitein the UK. While a strong foundation in SOX compliance is essential, this role also offers the opportunity to contribute to sustainability reporting and other strategic finance initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional and cross business area teams to drive successful project delivery that supports regulatory compliance, financial integrity, and sustainability goals.
Finance Compliance and Transformation Lead actions:
* Manage and contribute to a variety of finance projects spanning SOX compliance, sustainability reporting, and other finance transformation initiatives.
* Ensuring compliance with group requirements according to the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) by defined deadlines.
* Advising Financial Controllers on improvement potentials regarding SOX and potential cost implications.
* Harmonizing controls and processes across the two sites and accompanying change processes.
* Conducting risk and vulnerability analyses, including deriving measures for process optimization and introducing new processes and initiatives.
* Assist in developing and enhancing sustainability reporting auditability.
* Collaborating with sustainability, and business stakeholders to ensure projects align with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
* Stay up to date with changes in SOX regulations, sustainability reporting standards, and other relevant frameworks.
* Development and automation of financial reporting.

– Strong foundation in SOX compliance and a proven track record of success
– Versatile and proactive approach to managing multiple projects and priorities
– Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
– Ability to analyse complex financial data and provide actionable insights
– Proficiency in risk assessment and vulnerability analysis
– Knowledge of sustainability reporting standards and best practices
– Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and automation
– Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
