OneAdvanced is seeking a Principal FP&A Analyst to support the transformation of our financial planning, including development of cash flow forecasting capabilities and standardised KPI reporting. This high-impact role requires a strategic and highly analytical professional who can harness financial data to drive insight-led reporting and decision-making and deliver Executive-level reporting.Reporting to the Director of Strategic Planning and Reporting, you will play a key role in the delivery of the annual budget and quarterly forecasting cycles, own monthly lender reporting and drive significant improvements in our cashflow reporting andforecasting capabilities.


What You Will Do


Group Planning & Cashflow Forecasting:
• Cashflow and Balance sheet planning and reporting: Lead the strategy, governance, and delivery of Group-level Balance Sheet and Cashflow forecasting, budgeting, and monthly reporting.
• Planning Coordination: Working with the Head of FP&A, play a key role in the annual budget and quarterly rolling forecast processes across the business.
• Financial Modelling: Provide financial modelling and analysis for internal and external stakeholders to support business-critical decision-making.

Lender, Executive and Investor Reporting:
• Lender Reporting: Take ownership of monthly and quarterly lender reporting packs, ensuring high standards of accuracy and compliance.
• Executive Insights: Play a key role in the preparation of presentations for senior leadership, investors, and the Board; This will involve translating complex information and business dynamics into highly professional, Executive-level presentations that tell a clear strategic story tailored for different audiences.
• Shareholder information: Manage the integrity and delivery of both regular and ad-hoc shareholder information requests, often requiring coordination across different departments.

KPIs and reporting automation and standardisation:
• Metrics Coordination: Coordinate with stakeholders across the different teams to collate and reconcile metrics, and translate into business-driven narrative aligned to strategic objectives.
• Standardisation: Standardise and automate key performance indicators (KPIs) to enhance strategic decision-making and business insight.
• FinOps analytics and insights: Work with FinOps leadership and the offshore team responsible for preparing monthly FinOps data packs. You will identify underlying drivers behind Group FinOps metrics (e.g., overdue debt, credit note volumes) and collaborate with the offshore team to enhance reporting and provide supplementary analysis as required.
• Continuous Improvement: Adapt and refine reporting frameworks in response to evolving business priorities and a fast-moving environment.


What You Will Have



• Finance Expertise: Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, or CPA) with 7+ years of experience.
• Data & BI Skills: Strong track record of leveraging data to seek insights and enhance financial reporting.
• Strategic Communication: Strong communicator with the ability to work with and influence stakeholders at different levels.
• Report writing: Experience of translating insights into written presentations with ability to structure and design bespoke reporting packs that meet needs of different audiences, including Executive management, Board and lenders.
• Analytical Mindset: Proven ability to drive efficiency, enhance reporting structures, and provide robust analytics.
• Cash flow, balance sheet and working capital: Exposure to cash flow reporting / forecasting and strong understanding of balance sheet and working capital dynamics.
• Technical skills: High levels of proficiency with both Powerpoint and Excel (including demonstrable experience of developing financial models).
• Sector Knowledge: Experience in the software/SaaS industry is an advantage.
