We’re looking for a Mandarin-speaking Account Manager to join our Scotland team. In this role, you’ll help us drive the growth of the Chinese restaurant category across the region, acting as a strategic partner to some of our highest-performing merchants. Get to know our Commercial team — what drives us, how we work, and what you can expect. What You’ll Be Doing You’ll be joining the Chinese Category team within our Regional UKI function. This team is a group of commercially savvy, entrepreneurial individuals focused on unlocking one of the biggest growth opportunities in the market by building deep, culturally-nuanced relationships with restaurant partners. Here’s what your day-to-day might look like: Manage strategic partnerships: Act as the face of Deliveroo for top Chinese restaurant partners across Scotland, maintaining relationships through frequent face-to-face and remote communication. Drive commercial performance: Use data analysis and industry expertise to identify growth opportunities, maximising order volume and profitability for your partners. Negotiate & Influence: Lead contract negotiations and partnership terms to ensure long-term value for both Deliveroo and our restaurant partners. Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with Marketing to build growth campaigns and partner with Operations to improve delivery efficiencies and rider interactions. Be the local category expert: Deeply understand the Chinese restaurant landscape in Scotland, innovating new ideas to keep Deliveroo ahead of the competition. What You’ll Need to Thrive Our ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in some of these areas and curiosity to grow in others: Linguistic proficiency: Fluent in Mandarin (written and spoken). The ability to speak Cantonese is a significant bonus. Commercial experience: Proven professional experience in Sales or Account Management, preferably within a high-growth or dynamic environment. Data-driven mindset: Comfortable using data to tell a story, identify trends, and back up commercial recommendations. Exceptional people skills: A high level of emotional intelligence and the ability to build trust with diverse stakeholders, from independent owners to larger groups. Autonomy and grit: A self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently while travelling to meet partners across the Scottish region. Why Join Us?
