Financial Controller - UK Operations
A leading global manufacturer is seeking a Financial Controller to oversee financial reporting and internal controls for its UK-based specialist production business. This is a pivotal role within the UK management team, offering the opportunity to work closely with commercial stakeholders and lead a finance team of 6.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver accurate and timely monthly management reporting
* Oversee efficient accounts receivable and payable processes
* Partner with commercial teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and investment decisions
* Manage internal controls and drive process improvements, especially through automation
* Ensure compliance with statutory and tax regulations
* Lead and develop the UK Finance team
About You
* Qualified accountant with 5+ years post-qualification experience
* Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
* Proven track record in process improvement and financial analysis
* Experience of working in a complex, global manufacturing business
* Proficient in ERP systems (preferably Oracle NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills
Working Environment
* Hybrid working model (2-3 days/week in the office)
