Veterinary Surgeon – Portsmouth, UK

Salary: £50,000 – £70,000 DOE
At The Vet Office, we are currently seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established, modern veterinary practice based in Portsmouth.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and customer-focused vet looking to develop their clinical skills within a supportive and well-equipped environment.
The Role
You will be a key member of the clinical team, responsible for:
* Delivering high-quality veterinary care to a varied small animal caseload
* Providing preventive care and managing ongoing treatment plans
* Diagnosing and treating a range of medical and surgical cases
* Building strong relationships with clients and ensuring excellent customer service
* Working collaboratively within a close-knit and supportive team
Working pattern:
* Full-time (39 hours/week)
* 1 in 4 weekends
What We're Looking For
* Minimum 3 years of experience as a Veterinary Surgeon
* Ideally 1+ year of experience in the UK
* Strong interest in diagnostics and case continuity
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Passion for delivering high standards of patient care
* Commitment to ongoing professional development
