We are looking to appoint a keen and enthusiastic team player to join our market team based at St John's Market in Scunthorpe town centre.
The Market Team are responsible for the delivery and management of North Lincolnshire’s indoor and outdoor markets. As an Ambassador you will undertake a broad range of duties in assisting the team to maintain safe and presentable markets and provide help and assistance to customers and traders. A large part of the role will be maintaining the hygiene and cleanliness of the building and the public toilets. Also to assist the Market Officers with administrative duties and help out with events, marketing and promotions so experience in this area would be beneficial.
Whilst this role is based at St John’s Market in Scunthorpe town centre, the post holder will be required use the market van to attend our outdoor events and markets in Brigg and Ashby so a clean driving licence is essential
The contracted hours are for 37 hours per week Tuesday to Saturday. Hours are on a rota basis with some early shifts from 6am and late shifts up to An element of flexibility is required to cover holidays and absences.
