Home & Office Manager - Head of Family Office London
Kensington
£50,000-70,000
Take charge of a high-value property portfolio while working closely with a highly distinguished family. This is a rare chance to become the head of a family office, managing high-end residential properties and providing bespoke concierge services.
You'll demonstrate hands-on experience across multiple areas, from overseeing residential properties to arranging exclusive travel and lifestyle experiences. This is more than just an office management position - it's a unique opportunity to exemplify your leadership and organisational skills.
With a salary range of £50,000-70,000, you'll enjoy both a solid renumeration package and career longevity (they want someone to join for the longer term and have only had 2 employees in this post in the last 25 years) while building a reputation for working with one of the most respected and well-established international families.
What you'll do
You'll head up a four-person family office based in London, providing concierge services and managing UK properties. When the family visits, you'll ensure their stay is seamless, taking care of every detail from appointments to personal shopping and more.
You'll also oversee the maintenance and management of the principals' residential properties. This includes sourcing competitive quotes from tradesmen, supervising work, and making sure everything meets the highest standards.
Other duties include arranging travel, securing visas, booking events, and handling a wide range of personal and family-related matters. You'll be trusted to make recommendations and take ownership of all logistics.
This role is not just about managing tasks; it's about building relationships, anticipating needs, and delivering excellence to ensure their personal and professional needs are met with the utmost discretion and efficiency.
What you'll need
* Proven experience managing properties and providing concierge services, probably coming from a family office, country estate or 5-star hotels background
* Strong organisational skills, intelligence, proactivity and the skill to develop and mentor office and household staff to maintain cost-effective, top-tier service
* Vendor & contractor oversight: including handling agreements, negotiations, monitoring and procurement
* Financial & budgetary support; submitting quotes, dealing with expenses, and financial reporting
* The discretion, warmth and the ability to work closely with UHNW individuals
