National Business Development Manager - Catering Supplies

The Role: The National Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing a handful of customers worth £3mill but the key focus of the role will be to generate a pipeline of new business and drive sales through these channels - Pub groups (Marston's PLC, JD Wetherspoons, Mitchell & Butlers), Leisure (Bowling alleys, garden centres, casinos, motorway services), QSRs (Caffé Nero, Pret A Manger, Five Guys, Costa), Ferries (P&O, DFDS). You will be selling in at procurement director level & need to project manage your pipeline and tenders. This is a remote role but a typical week would usually look like this - 1 day a week in the office (there are branches across the country), 1 day a week working from home and 3 days on the road in client meetings. There will also be overnight stays but you will manage your own diary and journey plans.

The Company: This is one of the largest non-food wholesalers in the UK and they are experiencing some excellent growth paving the way for new sales opportunities. They distribute non-food consumables including paper products, janitorial supplies, medical disposables and food packaging, with bespoke options also available.

For this National Business Development Manager position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

5. You must have a new business background and sold at head office
6. You need to have sold into a similar route to market such as pub groups, leisure, QSRs, ferries but open on the product or service
7. You need to be commercially aware and have experience negotiating with procurement directors
8. Will consider someone with the experience listed above at a KAM level but looking to take the next step up
9. Driving licence is essential

10. £45,000 - £52,000 Base Salary
11. + £56,000-£63,000 OTE
