Geography Teacher
Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a full time Geography Teacher in Hull, starting January 5th 2026 and lasting until 3rd April 2026 in the first instance, with the potential to increase in the future. Payment for this position will be between £168.80 to £261.77 per day (this is a daily rate scaled from the main teaching pay scale of £32,916 to £51,047 per year). This is a temporary position, to cover a period of maternity.
This role will involve teaching Geography to Key Stage 3 and 4 students. Planning and marking would be expected for this position, hence payment to scale. There is a strong head of department in place which provides an encouraging environment. The ability to teach a different specialism to Key Stage 3 (History or RE) would be ideal but certainly not essential.
Located in Hull, there is a large onsite car park for candidates that do drive, and the school is easily accessible via public transport. The school is part of a growing, local academy trust, and as such has excellent links in place with other local schools with great reputations. Success in this position will lead to other opportunities in the future. There is a strong sense of community within the school, and they are looking for somebody to get immersed in the school life and join their team. Requirements
* Have experience working within schools in the UK.
* Have QTS.
* Has experience teaching Geography to Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
* Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
* CV must cover the full CV History.
* Legal right to work in the UK.
