TIG Welder - Ardleigh - Day Shift - Full Time - £13.00 p/h
We are currently recruiting for a TIG Welder to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Ardleigh. This is a full time, temporary to permanent opportunity, offering long-term stability and the chance to develop your welding skills within a fast-paced production environment. This role would suit a college leaver or even someone with more TIG experience in a practical, physically demanding role.
About the role:
Working within a busy production team, you will be involved in the manufacture of reinforced metal structures, primarily working with rebar. The role is fast-paced and physical. You will be working on jigs and benches, carrying out TIG and tack welding, as well as cutting, bending, and assembling materials. You will also be required to follow basic engineering.
Key Responsibilities
TIG welding rebar cages and structural components
Tack welding and assembling parts on jigs and benches
Cutting and bending rebar to specification
Following basic engineering drawings and instructions
Carrying out assembly work to meet production targets
Handling and moving heavy materials throughout the shift
Maintaining a safe and organised working environment
Working as part of a team to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting The Ideal Candidate
TIG welder (Some TIG welding experience or relevant college qualification)
Drivers License (Requirement)
Willingness to learn and develop welding skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical environment
Ability to follow basic engineering drawings
Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting What's On Offer
