East Lothian Works is currently recruiting a permanent Employability Intervention Officer (EIO).
This post will be hosted within the Schools Team which works across all ELC secondary schools to support young people to access pre-vocational courses offered by East Lothian Works, and a number of our partners.
The EIO will be allocated specific courses to oversee, ensuring the attendance of, and progress and attainment of the young people enrolled.
The EIO will work as part of a team of colleagues working together to support young people into a positive destination. The post holder will carry a caseload of young people who have been identified by colleagues who require support to identify a suitable post school destination.
Home / Hybrid Working Consideration
Applications for homeworking or hybrid working will be considered for this post, subject to a trial period and in accordance with East Lothian Council’s Home Working and Worksmart Policies which can be found. Home or Hybrid working options can be discussed with candidates invited for interview. All applicants must live in the UK and will be expected to attend Council offices from time to time as required.
