A National Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) would be beneficial; however, if you are safety conscious, a competent swimmer, and eager to gain valuable life skills, we would be happy to support you in achieving this qualification through our continuous learning and development opportunities. This role can serve as a great first step to various career paths within Places Leisure, including Operational Management, Sales, Fitness or Customer Service. Ongoing training and competency assessments are provided, along with opportunities for First Aid at Work training, swimming teacher qualifications, and apprenticeship routes.

Responsibilities
* You will be responsible for the supervision of customers and other lifeguards using our swimming and pool facilities.
* You will always act safely while holding responsibility for the Health and Safety of all pool users and oversee the operations of the building.
* You will have excellent attention to detail to ensure the safety of customers while using our facilities.
* You will deliver first-class customer service, dealing with customers in a friendly and professional manner and going above and beyond to maintain high standards.
* You will maintain and act on high standards of cleanliness as required.
