Cpl is delighted to be working in partnership with a Global Leading Legal Firm to appoint an experienced Commercial Lawyer to join their successful team in Belfast City.

About the role
As Commercial Lawyer you will have the opportunity to:
* Provide support to a number of the Firm's practices, primarily the commercial, data, information and technology practice across multiple jurisdictions.
* Develop strong working relationships with partners and lawyers in all sectors/departments in a variety of jurisdictions and contribute to the identification of innovative services and methods to assist in achieving efficiencies and continual process improvement.
* Work with the Corporate Support Group and Contentious Support Group in the Firm's Belfast Centre, in a one team approach, assisting with bespoke projects other than billable matters, as required.
The successful candidate will be an experienced commercial solicitor with a track record of dealing with a wide variety of legal issues and an ability to hit the ground running who can offer pragmatic, sensible legal advice to a high standard and to challenging deadlines.
Skills and Experience
* Qualified as a Lawyer in England & Wales or Northern Ireland
* Strong experience in a broad range of commercial contracts, including: supply agreements, manufacturing agreements; advising on consumer law matters, due diligence projects, data protection
* Experience in any of IT agreements, software licensing, data protection, intellectual property would be desirable
* Ability to review, analyse and organise documentary and factual evidence
* Strong attention to detail - get it right first time
* Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel and online research tools
* Able to work well in both a team and individually, with others of various experience levels
