Part Time Chef de Partie - Daytimes Shift
Up to GBP15ph, depending on experience

This is a part-time role offering up to 30 hours per week.
We have an extremely exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Part Time Chef de Partie to join a fast-paced kitchen within this well-known venue near Colchester. Our client is a locally renowned fresh food cafe and can cater for 200 covers on their busy days. They have a lovely outdoor seating and garden area for the summer, and serve breakfast and lunch, along with a delightful afternoon tea option. They pride themselves on using locally grown produce, using in-season goods wherever possible.
This popular caf?? is set in a small, picturesque village on the outskirts of Colchester Essex countryside, and attracts a large customer base to enjoy the traditional seasonal menu with modern British influences.
Our client is looking for a hardworking Part Time Chef de Partie who comes from a strong kitchen background using fresh food, who is looking for the opportunity to learn and grown within the team.
You will be working in a small kitchen brigade of chefs, you will have good all round kitchen experience, being able to run a section as required, managing the prep and ordering to assist the senior chefs.
As a Part Time Chef de Partie, you will ensure the food is produced to a consistently high standard at all times, assisting the senior chefs in the daily running of the kitchen, whilst keeping the fridges clean and organized, and food labelled and rotated as well as ordering stock and handling deliveries.
Qualification/Skill Required
* Minimum of 2 years of previous experience working at this level
* Level 2 Health and Hygiene Certificate
* NVQ in professional cookery / or equivalent, preferred
