Be responsible for the civil design of your project including, but not limited to, hydraulic analysis of gravity and pressure systems, design of reinforced concrete slabs, crane pads, and thrust blocks. Coordinate the project team including Electrical, Mechanical and Process designers and ensure designs are completed on programme, within budget, and to the quality defined by Northumbrian Water and industry specifications. Work as part of a Project triangle alongside a Site Manager and Quantity Surveyor to ensure that technical, constructability and commercial aspects of project delivery are considered throughout. Build positive relationships with the client project, operational and technical assurance teams and promote a "one-team" approach. Visit sites across the Northumbrian Water region as required to develop the design and support the construction delivery of your projects (costs incurred are recoverable).
