The Clinical Audit and Outcomes team is part of our Nursing Directorate and works closely with clinical leaders across the hospital to ensure that patient outcomes, audit results and quality indicators are consistently monitored, reported and used to shape better practice.

The Role
We are currently looking to recruit a Clinical Audit and Outcomes Officer to join our Clinical Governance team within the Nursing Directorate at The London Clinic. This role plays a vital part in supporting the delivery of high‑quality clinical audit and outcomes programmes across the organisation. Working closely with the Clinical Audit and Patient Outcomes Manager, you will help coordinate, implement and monitor clinical audit activity, ensuring alignment with national standards and internal governance frameworks. You will also support the collection and analysis of patient outcomes data, contributing to continuous improvement and evidence‑based care across our clinical services.
Key Duties
* Coordinate and facilitate clinical audits across departments, ensuring alignment with hospital and national standards.
* Support the management of the Audit Management and Tracking (AMaT) system, providing training and troubleshooting support where needed.
* Contribute to the delivery of national audits, registries, and NCEPOD participation.
* Collect, analyse and interpret clinical and patient outcomes data.
* Prepare summary reports, dashboards and presentations for governance and quality groups.
* Support services in linking audit findings to quality improvement initiatives and action plans.
* Monitor compliance with NICE guidance and other national standards.
Skills And Experience
* Experience in clinical audit, data analysis or quality improvement within a healthcare setting.
* Degree or equivalent experience in healthcare, clinical governance or data management.
* Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with proficiency in Excel and data visualisation tools.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
* Ability to build effective working relationships across clinical and non‑clinical teams.
Desirable
* Experience using AMaT, My Clinical Outcomes or similar systems.
* Familiarity with national audit programmes such as NJR, ICNARC or PROMs.
* Understanding of NICE compliance and Quality Improvement (QI) methodologies.
