Amazon is looking for a talented and experienced lawyer to support our EU Retail business. As Corporate Counsel, you will have a unique opportunity to connect deeply with Amazon’s technology and operations. You will serve as the primary lawyer responsible for advising the business on a broad range of commercial and regulatory matters. You will work directly with business teams, providing day-to-day advice, serving as lead counsel on new strategic deals, innovative programmes and business models, resolving issues that arise in existing commercial relationships and handling pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries. As a key player on our European legal team, you will coordinate with lawyers worldwide and with Amazon’s business teams to make Amazon the safest and most trusted store on earth. Some travel may be required.
Outstanding academic qualification.
- A minimum of over 5+ years post-qualification legal experience at a law firm and/or a successful transactional background, including extensive commercial and/or retail experience.
- Excellent English, both spoken and written.
