A vacancy exists within our SQE Department for a Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability Apprentice on a 4-year Apprenticeship Programme. The role involves a formal apprenticeship within Liebherr-Great Britain Ltd, aiming for a long-term career, focusing on key areas such as Business Performance, Customer Focus, People and Teamwork, and Leadership. The role also ensures compliance with the company's Health & Safety, Environmental Policies, and Quality system.
Your Responsibilities:
* Undertake an apprenticeship as a Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Apprentice (level 4) in business and administration.
* Participate in work-based training at Biggleswade, including coursework from a designated college or education provider.
* Assist with annual data collection and carbon emissions reporting.
* Handle reception duties when required.
* Perform daily administrative tasks within the SQE department.
* Collaborate with other departments to understand social and governance aspects.
* Maintain health, safety, and welfare standards in the workplace.
* Perform other duties as required by management.
On Completion, you will be able to:
* Develop initiatives aligned with Liebherr's Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability strategy.
* Contribute to the company's carbon reduction plans.
* Identify social and environmental risks and escalate as needed.
* Collect and analyze data for reporting requirements.
* Promote initiatives through communications.
Your Profile:
* 4 GCSEs or equivalent at 'A-C' grade or 9-4 in English and Mathematics.
* Passion for environmental and social change, industry, and personal development.
* Good IT skills.
* Articulate with confident communication skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills.
* Well-presented and flexible in approach.
