Kenneth Brian Associates are looking for an experienced Purchasing & Warehouse Administrator to join our small but growing client based in South Croydon. We are seeking someone with a background in purchasing and stock control. You'll be responsible for sourcing materials, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the warehouse.
Please note: This role is part time 30/35 hours to start and will increase to full time in 6 months.
Key Responsibilities:
Source and purchase materials and products needed for ongoing projects and operational needs.
Liaise with suppliers to obtain competitive prices, manage delivery timescales, and ensure stock quality.
Manage incoming and outgoing stock in the warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory records and timely dispatch/receipt.
Maintain tidy and well-organised warehouse space, with clear labelling and storage systems.
Monitor stock levels to avoid shortages or excess, and carry out regular stock takes.
Process purchase orders, track deliveries, and handle any issues with damaged or missing goods.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and couriers to ensure reliable service
Support the wider team with general warehouse tasks and administrative duties
To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need:
Previous experience in a purchasing, procurement, or warehouse administration role.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Good negotiation skills and confident dealing with suppliers.
Experience with inventory systems or stock control processes is a bonus.
Good communication skills both written and verbal.
A proactive and hands-on approach to work.
Must live locally to South Croydon.
