The role will be to support the delivery of Numeracy skills across the school with a specific focus on small groups and targeted one to one intervention to support the ‘bottom 20%’ of our pupils to make accelerated rates of progress. The successful candidate will promote pupils’ learning and progress by supporting the work of teachers and by providing individual and small group sessions. For small group and one-to-one support, it is essential the candidate has good communication skills, be a team player and driven to make a difference. The intervention will link to the maths curriculum and be focused on improving key areas and gaps identified for support for individual pupils. They will have responsibility for delivering the Year 7-11 Maths Recovery Programme. The role offers you the opportunity to work in a busy environment which is exciting, challenging and highly rewarding.
