We are seeking a caring Health Care Support Worker to join our team of experienced nurses, support staff, and other members of the multi-disciplinary team within the Community Hospital. The role is based in the GP Unit, caring for patients with diverse healthcare needs, including rehabilitation, step-down from acute hospitals, long-term conditions, and palliative care.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships in a busy environment. A commitment to high standards of patient-centered, safe, and effective care is essential.
The position involves rotational day and night shifts within a roster pattern, with the option of 12-hour shifts.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to adhere to the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
