Pay: £165 – £245 per day (dependent on experience)
Working Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm | Full-Time

Position Overview
An Ofsted-rated “Good” secondary school located near the beautiful New Forest in Southampton is seeking a Science Teacher to join their supportive and forward-thinking department.
This full-time role will begin as soon as possible or from January 2026 and offers a long-term contract with the strong potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.
You’ll have the opportunity to inspire curiosity and achievement across Key Stages 3 and 4, working alongside an experienced and collaborative team dedicated to delivering engaging and inclusive Science lessons.
What You’ll Be Doing
Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4, differentiating for a range of abilities.
Planning and delivering engaging, hands-on lessons that bring Science to life.
Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback.
Creating a positive, respectful, and inquisitive classroom environment.
Contributing to departmental planning, resources, and whole-school initiatives.

What We’re Looking For
A qualified Science teacher with UK QTS (or working towards QTS).
Experience teaching Science across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
A passion for Science and for inspiring young learners.
A commitment to maintaining high standards and safeguarding.
