Science Teacher – Near the New Forest, Southampton Start Date: ASAP or January 2026 Contract: Long-Term (with the potential to become permanent) Pay: £165 – £245 per day (dependent on experience) Working Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm | Full-Time Location: Close to the New Forest, Southampton Position Overview An Ofsted-rated “Good” secondary school located near the beautiful New Forest in Southampton is seeking a Science Teacher to join their supportive and forward-thinking department. This full-time role will begin as soon as possible or from January 2026 and offers a long-term contract with the strong potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate. You’ll have the opportunity to inspire curiosity and achievement across Key Stages 3 and 4, working alongside an experienced and collaborative team dedicated to delivering engaging and inclusive Science lessons. What You’ll Be Doing Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4, differentiating for a range of abilities. Planning and delivering engaging, hands-on lessons that bring Science to life. Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback. Creating a positive, respectful, and inquisitive classroom environment.
