Responsibilities
1. Lead the integration of new exchanges into the trading platform, focusing on connectivity & functionality
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to implement and maintain API connections
3. Build custom solutions & tools to automate exchange integration processes
4. Test and validate exchange integrations, including order execution, order book management, and trade settlement
5. Monitor exchange API performance and reliability, identify and implement solutions to optimize trading efficiency
6. Work closely with colleagues on integration projects (fellow software developers, product managers, compliance officers)
Skills & Experience Required
7. 7+ years of finance experience
8. Proven experience working with exchange APIs and protocols, with a strong understanding of order execution, market data, & trade lifecycle management
9. Hands-on experience integrating digital asset exchanges into trading platforms, including API authentication, data normalization, and error handling
10. Proficiency in programming languages (e.g. Python, Javascript or Go) for scripting and automation tasks
11. Previous experience working in the cryptocurrency or fintech industry is required
12. BS degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
