Overview
Lead complex electrical and control system projects from concept to completion within a highly respected engineering environment. A permanent role offering a highly competitive salary, based in Rochester. This is a full-time, site-based role in Rochester, Kent.
Position: Project Manager (Electrical) | Location: Rochester, Kent | Salary: Highly competitive, depending on experience | Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am–5:00 pm

Responsibilities
* Manage electrical and control system projects from order through to completion
* Deliver projects to the agreed scope, programme and budget
* Coordinate electrical design activities, including control systems and system integration
* Liaise with internal engineering teams, external consultants, contractors and suppliers
* Produce, monitor and maintain detailed project schedules
* Provide regular technical and commercial project reporting
* Manage project risks and resolve technical or installation issues
* Control project variations, change orders and associated documentation
* Ensure compliance with relevant electrical regulations and industry standards
* Build strong relationships with clients, M&E contractors and key stakeholders
* Support commissioning, testing and final handover activities
* Reviewing and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics
Qualifications
* A strong technical background in electrical engineering, power systems or control systems
* Proven experience managing electrical or power-related projects
* Experience coordinating M&E contractors, consultants and end users
* Knowledge of generators, switchgear or industrial electrical installations
* Confidence reviewing wiring diagrams, control schematics and technical documentation
* Strong commercial awareness with an understanding of project financials
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office; MS Project experience is advantageous
* The ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
* A full UK driving licence
* Personable, self-motivated and enthusiastic, with the confidence to work independently and communicate effectively across all levels
