Job Description:

Build a Rewarding Career.

Doing things differently.

Hourly Paid Lecturer - Secondary ITE MFL Specialist

£49.75 per direct teaching hour.

A flat rate of £19.90 per hour will be paid for completing one of the following elements of the schedule: preparation and marking.

The number of hours required and the days of the week may vary.

About the Role

We are looking for a practicing Modern Foreign Languages teacher in a UK secondary school setting to join our HPL team as the MFL specialist.

This is a HPL role and not a permanent employment route into a UK HEI, the applicant will need QTS along with substantial experience of teaching modern foreign languages in UK secondary school settings.

Experience of mentoring on ITE trainees or early career teachers is desirable but not essential, more important is a good subject-specific pedagogical awareness of how to teach modern foreign languages to the 11-18 age range.

The number of hours required and the days of the week are 3 hrs on a Monday afternoon in a non-regular pattern from September to April.

For more details, please take a look at the role profile. We'll still consider applications even if you don't meet every single one of the requirements, so don't be put off if you don't match them perfectly.
