My client are a leading energy solution provider they are looking to onboard a civil site manager to an ongoing energy infrastructure package being delivered in the South-Wales.\n\nSite manager responsibilities:\n\n * Day to day management of site operatives, subcontractors and site work.\n\n * Development and implementation of safety documentation including construction phase plans, site quality plans and risk assessments / method statements.\n\n * Undertake inspections Carry out site inductions, Toolbox Talks & Daily Briefings.\n\n * Prepare daily SSoW and put people to work.\n\n * Produce & maintain Site Specific Risk & Method Statements.\n\n * Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks.\n\n * Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.\n\n * Communicate effectively with the contractors.\n\n * Attend weekly progress meetings.\n\n * Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction.\n\n * Ensure quality control measures are implemented throughout the project.\n\n * Maintain a high standard of documentation and records of project. activities/labour including a site dairy.\n\nSite manager requirements:\n\n * Right to work in the UK.\n\n * Desirable to already hold SSE authorisation of minimum CAT1C.\n\n * Must have NSI 6 & 8 FULL,\n\n * Must have SMSTS, First Aid at Work, SHEA Power/ CSCS, Temporary Works Co-Ordinator & Supervisor.\n\n * An extensive knowledge of construction methodologies within the Electricity Transmission industry\n\n * Competency to work in substations 66kV to 400kV inclusive.\n\n * Knowledge of NEC contracts. • Knowledge of current legislation relating to health, safety and environment.\n\n * Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.\n\n * Ability to work within budget and to programme timescales.\n\n * Ability to work within a team environment including clients, designers, H&S advisers, site staff, quantity surveyor and estimators.\n\n * IT literate, specifically in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.\n\n * Full driving licence.\n\n * Must be prepared to travel and work away at customer sites.\n\n * Qualified to a suitable level in construction, mechanical engineering or an electrical engineering discipline.\n\n * Previously or current authorisation to National Grid TP 137.11.\n\nThe next steps to apply for the role!\n\nClick the apply button and send your CV
