Term Time, Experienced SEN Nanny in Market Drayton, Shropshire
A welcoming family in Market Drayton are seeking a compassionate, capable nanny to support their 23-year-old daughter, who has special educational needs including global delay and autism. Due to her condition, she requires similar care to that of a much younger child. This is a rewarding role for someone experienced, confident, and organised who can build a trusting, positive relationship with the young woman while working closely alongside the family and a part-time support worker. The role involves supporting her with all aspects of daily life, including personal care and life skills. You’ll be responsible for planning and leading engaging, structured days that include outings, activities, and creative play. The young woman enjoys visits to farms, zoos, nature
walks, jigsaws, baking, and attending weekly guitar lessons. We’re looking for someone who is calm under pressure, proactive, and resilient. You should be comfortable with personal care and have previous experience working with individuals with additional needs within a private household.
Location of the job: Market Drayton, Shropshire
Minimum experience Level for this job: Working as a nanny in a private household and 5 experience working with children with special educational needs.

Hours of work: Monday: 10:30am – 6:30pm
Tuesday – Friday: 9am – 5pm
Days required: Monday – Friday (39 weeks a year)

Driving required: yes Automatic available car available on duty
Job Start Date: As soon as possible
Pay: £34,320 gross per annum
Benefits: Support worker available for shared care 12 hours a week for relief and
support.
